Since its successful German market launch in 2000, Granada Produktion für Film und Fernsehen GmbH constantly ranked among the 10 largest production companies in Germany.

Granada has secured a leading position in the comedy and entertainment areas in particular.  Since 2008, it has also focused upon the area of fiction/scripted entertainment. Along with its headquarters in Cologne, the production company also has a branch office in Berlin.

Berlin is also the home of its subsidiary, Imago TV GmbH. Granada to go for a majority share of the Berlin production firm in summer 2008. Productions here primarily involve documentaries and docu-soaps.
